Vishwakarma Puja to be celebrated with grandeur at Transport Nagar
Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur Truck and Trailer Owners Association today shared its plans for the upcoming Vishwakarma Puja celebrations.
The association informed that this year too, the festival will be observed with great enthusiasm at the Transport Nagar Union office. The auspicious puja ceremony will take place on September 17 at 9:30 am, followed by bhog distribution after 1:00 pm.
On September 19, a grand procession featuring tableaux, horses, camels and other attractions will be carried out from Transport Nagar parking to the Subarnarekha river ghat for idol immersion, starting at 4:00 pm.
As part of the concluding events, a cultural evening has been scheduled for September 20 at 7:00 pm, where popular Bhojpuri artiste Akshara Singh along with her team will perform. The association has invited citizens of Jamshedpur to attend the programme and enjoy the festivities.
The announcement was made by association president Jasveer Singh in the presence of general secretary Manish Singh, patron Satbir Singh Somu, joint secretary Pradeep Sharma, treasurer Ranjit Singh, vice presidents Bittu Tiwari and Shakti Singh, along with other office bearers.
