Bhayali Mahila Mandal celebrate Rani Sati Dadi Mahotsav

Jamshedpur, Aug 10: Bhayali Mahila Mandal (BMM) of Sonari today organized Shri Rani sati Dadi Ji Mahotsav on the auspicious occasion of Sawan Sindhara at New CP Club near the Sonari ram Mandir.  251 married women in traditional Rajasthani attire recited Dadi Ji�s Mangal Path in chorus and sang Her glory.

Local Bhajan singer Mahabir Agrawal (Munna) highlighted the spiritual aura with his renditions as soon as he started with the Ganesh Vandana. The women were almost in a trance as they danced to the Bhajan renditions.

At the commencement, host couple Astha and Sarthak Agrawal lighted the holy lamp and performed worship as per tradition. Priest Nityanand conducted the prayers and tied the Raksha Sutra on the wrists of devotees present. Dadi Ji�s Darbar was decorated with aromatic flowers.

The main attractions of the Mahotsav included the Akhand Jyot, Gajra Utsav, Henna Utsav, floats, 56 items of food for consecration and Sindhara Prasad.

The Mahotsav which commenced at 3 pm continued upto 10 pm and concluded with Arti and distribution of consecrated food. More than 300 women devotees attended the Mahotsav.
