The one who dreams of becoming a sun after seeing a ray of sun is great. He is greater, who dreams of becoming the sun, becomes the perfect sun. After centuries, some person is like this. He evokes an entire tradition and culture with his light. In the history of the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, there have been few such rare ‘Sar Sangha Chalak’, Mohan Bhagwat is the current famous name in the rich and gracious tradition of the RSS. The principal standards of their scarcity or importance are strong nationalism, Hinduism and public welfare tendencies. On the basis of these three steps, they climbed to the highest peak of importance. He has given new interpretations of Hindutva.
The book ‘Yashsvi Bharat’ written by him about RashtriyaSwayamsevakSangh and Hindutva is going to be released in Delhi on 19 December 2020. It is not only a book but a mirror to understand Hindutva in the overall environment. Today, it is necessary to refine the definition of the word Hindu and to associate it with nationality, and this book is a means of doing this important work.
Mohan Bhagwat has depicted Hindutva philosophy in the book.It is holistic and eternal. It is not a delicate house of glass to be shattered by splashes of criticism. The truth that Bhagwat has exposed was true thousands of years ago and is equally true today. Rather, its usefulness has increased with new circumstances and political situations. Because the collective denomination of all sects originating from India is called ‘Hindutva’. Therefore, the Sangh wants to make the Hindu society organized, invincible and empowered. The aim of the Sangh is to make this work complete. In this book, there is a collection of 17 speeches given on different topics in different places of Mohan Bhagwat.
There have often been aimless, incestuous and subversive criticisms about the Sangh and Hindutva, but it does not appear to have any adverse effect on the Sangh if such a policy serves the interests of anyone. Such criticisms of the Sangh dissipate time, power and meaning and expose the bankruptcy of their intellect. The Sangh is not only the country but also the world’s most famous and largest non-political organization. What is discussed is also opposed. The aimless and levelless opposition becomes self-evident proof of the selfish attitude of the opposing ideologies and organizations, the policy of jealousy and destruction. Those people who criticize the Sangh and Mohan Bhagwat and throw mud on their personality and organizations, despite feeling weak, want to be respected in society and nation, they criticize it. His criticisms have been unsuccessful attempts to defy a vibrant tradition. With a view to informing such people and organizations the correct facts, the book Yashswi Bharat will have an important role.
India is a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ and Hindutva is the essence of the country’s identity. The Sangh clearly considers the identity of the country as Hindu because all socio-cultural practices of the nation follow its principles. According to Bhagwat, ‘Hindutva’ is a word whose meaning is narrowed by connecting it to religion. In the language of the Sangh, it is not used in that narrow sense. This word is an expression of the identity of our country, the eternal truth of its spiritually based tradition, and an expression with all the wealth of value. The Sangh believes that the word ‘Hindutva’ is applicable to all 130 crore people who keep the pride of their ancestral tradition, who believe in India as their own, to adopt the global and everlasting values of their culture and to do so in a glorious manner.
Mohan Bhagwat’s investigative eyes caught the truth from beyond his era, the adventurous time-cycle was not able to break it down from any angle. He has given a solid ground to every liberal and enlightened thinker and person of the country, I wish! If a series of thoughts could move in the right direction, political selfishness, bigotry and alienation, hostility towards India and ambition for global domination, their strange combination would not work against India’s national unity. Those who want to break the country and society, those who want to fight us among themselves, have been selfish by making this word, which connects everyone, the first target of their contempt and commentary.
‘Hindu’ is not the name of any creed or sect, no province has its own derivative word, it is not the patroness of any one caste, it is not the awarding word of any language. According to Mohan Bhagwat, one does not have to give up any specialty of worship, province, language etc. to come and live within the purview of the spirit of the word ‘Hindu’. One only has to give up the desire to establish his own domination. The separatist spirit has to be eliminated from one’s own mind. A disgusting attempt to break the eternal unity at the core of India’s diversity has been perpetrated by our so-called minority and scheduled caste tribes, telling false dreams and fanatical malice. People who make such declarations as ‘Bharat tere tukde honge’ are included in this conspiratorial circle. This book cautions such I’ll minded people.
A person of great personality like Mohan Bhagwat is not able to distract the sarcasm of condemnation and make pats of praise. All the head organizers have learned to bear both condemnation and praise, and have learned to be equal. That is why the union has become great. Those who have been trying to throw mud on it, they have reached the pinnacle in the present, but the Sangh’s dominance is never going to tarnish. Because its policy has a pure and principled foundation. Opposing individuals and organizations also realize this, yet to mislead the public and to weaken morale, those people and organizations that have been soothed on the light, have seen their hands blackened. If such people come to gain wisdom, if they put their time and labour in some constructive work, then it can be a good service to the nation and humanity.
The Sangh has always welcomed level opposition and criticism. The Sangh’s doors are open every moment for its neutral review. The book ‘Yashasvi Bharat’ is a reminder of such neutral reviews. This book is a call to empower India, in which Mohan Bhagwat has fully explained the Sangh’s approach on various issues. The first edition of the book is titled Hindu, worshipers of unity in diversity. It says that ‘when we talk about a healthy society, it means an organized society. We don’t have to be weak; we have to worry for everyone. The book says about the Sangh, our job is to connect everyone. The Sangh can be understood only by coming to the Sangh. Organization is power. The association works to organize a diverse society.
Nationality is the basic dialogue in the book. The Sangh believes that despite having ideological differences, we are all people of one country and we all have to together make this country bigger. So we will communicate. The work of the union is of individual creation. Nations are formed from individuals and society. We try to bring changes in behaviour in the society. It is a collective work, by self-supporting method. Let us make the Sangh’s hands so strong and reliable that every moment of construction should be history. A new and strong India should be built, whose path leads everywhere. May everyone have good wishes towards everyone? Today, the country has called for the faith of nationalism, the height of duty, determination and dedication to preserve human values, as Mohan Bhagwat has called for a “ Glorious India ”. Come, then wake up once, demolish the walls of narrowness and selfishness.
