Jamshedpur, Nov. 15: Bhagwat Katha will be organised at Kalikapur in Jadugora from 17 to 24 November.
At the religious programme, Pandit Pavan Krishna Shastri from Mathura will recite. The religious programme started with Shobha Yatra at Kalikapur village where villagers were informed about the bhagwat katha.
Earlier, a meeting of the organiser Srikrishna Anuragi Bhakt Samiti was held which was headed by former Zila Parishad Karunamay Mandal from North Potka.
The meeting held at resident of Vishnu Pad Bhakt where Karunamay Mandal said, today’s modern youths are quite far away from Bhagwat Katha and its time they should be linked to bhagwat katha like the elderly so that faith and brotherhood be developed among the youth.
At the meeting Tarni Sen Das, Vishnu Pado Bhakt, Samir Kumar Bhakt, Rajnikant Das, Debashish Bhakta, Amiya Ranjan Bhakta, Somen Kumar, Pramod Das and other villagers were present.
