Jamshedpur, Dec 7: Sardar Bhagwan Singh has been unanimously re-elected as President of the Central Gurudwara Management Committee (CGPC) for the next three years. Representatives from 31 Gurudwaras and three religious organisations expressed full support, marking an unprecedented demonstration of unity.

Upon election, Singh said, “This re-election reflects the complete trust of Kolhan’s Sikh community. I will uphold this faith and strengthen the society, spreading the Guru’s teachings to every household and uniting every Sikh in Kolhan.” Following the announcement, Singh and his team paid respects at Sakchi Gurudwara, bowing before the Guru Granth Sahib.

This is the first time a CGPC President has been re-elected with such widespread consensus, surpassing previous precedents set by Sardar Shailendra Singh and Sardar Inderjit Singh.
