Beverage plant sealed in Adityapur

Jamshedpur: Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration here on Thursday sealed the plant of New Hard Rocks Beverage Company in Adityapur Industrial Area. The action was taken under SARFAESI Act by the main branch of Union Bank in Jamshedpur, sources said.
Sources said the deputy commissioner (DC) Chhavi Ranjan had directed the circle officer Kamini Kaushal Lakra to seal the company for not paying back bank loan. A team of Adityapur police was also present on the occasion. The company proprietor Siraz Khan was not present during the sealing process.
The circle officer said the bank and district administration had sent notices to the company management before sealing its premises.
