Jamshedpur, Aug. 2: In today’s era of competition any industrial unit, business establishment and professional can move forward by management of worker, behavior and work efficiency, Suresh Sonthalia, president of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said on Tuesday during his welcome address at a seminar organized by the Indian Society for Training and Development, Jamshedpur chapter, at the Chamber Bhawan.
The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), established in April 1970, is a national level professional & non-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and through its 50 chapters has been providing training to the management and workers.
ISTD Organizes Training Programs, all over the country both at chapter and national levels. The Programs cover selected areas of HRD with special emphasis on training of trainers, training goals and objectives as well as training tools and technologies, said Dr. S K Singh, chairman of the Indian Society for Training and Development.
He further said that today production in every sector should be innovative. At one time Nokia mobile was effective but it failed to accept the android software which has made it fighting for survival.
Singh informed that of the 130 crore Indian population, 30 crore people work and of that only 7 crore people are skilled and they need to be updated regularly.
Secretary of the society, Aaloma Ghosal informed about time management, self development, target achieving and others through power point presentation (PPP).
