Beautification and maintenance of parks by Adityapur Municipal Corporation

Jamshedpur, July 17: The Adityapur Municipal Corporation (AMC) is dedicated to the beautification of all parks within its jurisdiction. This includes Prabhat Park in Ward 17, Sridungri Park in Ward 2, Subhash Chandra Bose Park in Ward 18 and Rickshaw Colony Park in Ward 30. Contracts are being given for the maintenance of the parks but certain elements are politicizing the issue. Municipal Corporation Administrator Ravi Prakash has appealed to the public to cooperate and contribute to making Adityapur clean and beautiful.

Plans to create open gyms in all parks, walking and exercising facilities for senior citizens, children and women were outlined by Prakash. The security and maintenance of these gyms will be carried out by appointed to contractors. Any political interference in these initiatives would not be tolerated by the Municipal Administration. Prakash announced plans to mark the boundaries of the Adityapur Municipal Corporation area with welcome gates at Lal Building Chowk in Gamharia and near the Kharkai Bridge. Busy areas will have designated parking and no-parking zones, with contractors appointed to manage them to ensure smooth pedestrian and vehicular movement.

Notices have also been issued to individuals using park premises for unauthorized offices. Those who do not vacate the premises within the stipulated time will face legal action.(
