Ranchi, Nov 5: A five-member joint team of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) inspected the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi on November 4, ahead of T20 international match scheduled between India and New Zealand on November 19.
New Zealand’s Mike Sandle, Andrew Love and Bir Singh along R Venkatesh and B. Lokesh from BCCI were part of the team.
Team reached JSCA Stadium at around 11 am for inspection where JSCA Secretary Sanjay Sahay, Vice President Ajay Nath Shah Deo, former secretary Rajesh Verma, Devashish Chakravati, CEO AK Singh, Security subcommittee chairman Akhilesh Kumar Jha, JSCA’s Kishore Chandra, Jai Kumar Sinha, Suresh Kumar, Chanchal Dutt Gupta welcomed the inspection team.

Team inquired about the preparations related to main ground, dressing room, players’ entry and security
Members of the inspection team praised the facilities at the JSCA International Stadium and gave special guidelines regarding safety and bio-bubbles in view of Covid-19. JSCA officials assured the team of strictly adhering to Covid guidelines issued by the state government and BCCI.

Inspection team seemed completely satisfied with the facilities available at the JSCA International Stadium.
