Banna reviews Mango bridge repair work

Jamshedpur, March 28: State health minister Banna Gupta inspected the ongoing repair of Jai Prakash Setu, also known as Mango Bridge, on Monday. He directed them to complete the work as soon as possible and ensure quality. The bridge is being repaired by Tata Steel UISL. Sources said the faults in the surface and expansion joints of the bridge are being repaired. East Singhbhum district administration is getting the work done on a round-the-clock basis. The bridge was ridden with potholes, random bumps and gaps at several places, causing inconvenience to commuters, sources said.
