Jamshedpur, Feb 15: State Youth Congress secretary Rakesh Sahu and Congress state secretary Usha Singh were full of praise for state Health Minister Banna Gupta�s ability to solve many problems in the course of Janata Durbar held at Tilak Pustakalay in Bistupur. They asserted that Gupta�s ability to provide quick solutions to people�s problems is eliciting public praise.
The two state officials claimed that such Janata Durbars would be a regular feature through the government�s five year tenure. Both, Usha Singh and Rakesh Sahu stated that such actions as taken by the Jharkhand Health Minister will raise the confidence level of party members who would then be able to solve people�s problems. On the issue of the MGM Hospital, both stated that it constituted a part of the election manifesto and so the matter would be delved into under the minister�s leadership.
Rakesh Sahu had a piece of suggestion for Health Minister Banna Gupta. Sahu said, �Jamshedpur is a city of workers and retired persons who live in colonies. Due to paucity of money, these people have to seek treatment at government hospitals even for common ailments like cold, cough, fever or others like blood pressure, diabetes and other related diseases. In case they fail to get medical attention here, they have to seek treatment at private clinics or nursing homes which burn a hole in their already dry pockets. If the honourable minister takes the initiative and orders setting up of community clinics (Mohalla Clinics), it would prove to be a great boon for the low income earners and retired persons.� Sahu said that the Health Minister would seriously take note of his suggestion and work on it.
