Bank of Baroda Jamshedpur launches cleanliness drive

Jamshedpur, Sep 22: Bank of Baroda’s Regional Office in Jamshedpur undertook a cleanliness drive at Madrasi Sammelani Middle School, Bistupur, under the theme ‘Swabhaav Swachhta Sanskar Swachhta,’ as part of the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign. The initiative involved a thorough cleaning of the school premises and its surroundings, with participation from Regional Head Manish Prakash Sinha, Deputy Regional Head Sunil Kumar Saha, and staff members from both the regional office and urban branches.

Sinha emphasized the importance of viewing cleanliness as an on-going responsibility, urging participants to incorporate it into their daily lives and to raise awareness within their communities. This initiative is part of the broader Swachhta Abhiyan (Fortnight for Clean India), which runs from September 17 to October 2, 2024, culminating in Swachhta Diwas 2024, honouring Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
