Jamshedpur: To mark International Women’s Day, Bank of Baroda (BoB) organized a special event at Jamshedpur Women’s University on March 6, 2025. The event took place at the Kharkai Auditorium and was chaired by the Dean of Student Welfare (DSW), Dr. Kishwar Ara.
The program began with a speech competition for the university’s female students, encouraging them to express their views on women’s empowerment. Following this, a motivational session was conducted by BK Anju Didi from Brahmakumari, Jamshedpur, whose inspiring words uplifted and energized the audience.
Additionally, Bank of Baroda officials presented an informative session on various women-centric banking products designed to promote the all-round development of women.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to the winners of the speech competition. The jury for the competition included Dr. Rizwana Parveen, Dr. Shweta Prasad, Dr. Keya Banerjee and Dr. Bharti Varshne, from the university and Manish Prakash Sinha, Manas Patnaik and other officials from the bank.
The event was coordinated by Mrs. Moumita Das Saha, Senior Manager (Official Language) of Bank of Baroda Jamshedpur Region, with Dr. Rizwana Parveen offering the vote of thanks. The program was a successful celebration of women’s empowerment and community engagement.
