Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Bangbhashi Samanvaya Samiti members felicitated the Speaker of West Bengal Subhendu Maity and the MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato during a function organized on Saturday.
They said the MP of Jamshedpur had done a great service to the Bengali language by taking oath in the same language in the Lok Sabha after being elected MP.
They further said that Subhendu Maity had been serving the cause of the Bengali language for the last 50 years by researching on Bengali language and its folk songs.
