Bandh supporters burn dumper in Potka

Jamshedpur: Bandh supporters burnt a dumper in Bango village near Rankini Mandir, Jadugora in Potka in the wee hours of Friday.

They made an abortive effort to burn another vehicle.

Police took in custody six bandh supporters in this connection. They suspect the incident took place around 2 am.
Cops said the bandh supporters made a dent into the fuel tank of the other dumper in a bid to set it ablaze, but failed to do so.

DSP Ajit Vimal reached the venue and caught several bandh supporters after chasing them. He said the burnt vehicle belonged to one Ujjwal Singh of Jamshedpur.
