Baharagora: Bharat bandh called by various Adivasi organizations on the Supreme Court decision regarding SC/ST cases was partially successful in Baharagora. Passenger buses remained off road. However shops were open throughout the day. Schools were also open. A procession was taken out during the bandh by the local tribal leaders. Police arrested 50 bandh supporters near the bus stand. BDO Lalit Prasad Singh and the Baharagora OC Sanjay Kumar Singh monitored the law and order situation during the bandh. Bandh was peaceful in Barsol and Shyamsunderpur police station areas.
