Jamshedpur: Members of Bajrang Dal, Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit, met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum, Amit Kumar on Friday and handed over a memorandum to him demanding action against the installation or use of pictures, tiles, posters or other products depicting Hindu deities in commercial buildings and establishments.
Leading the delegation, the outfit co-convener Gautam Prasad said the outfit members had handed over memorandum on the same issue to the district administration earlier, but no action was taken by the administration in this regard. He said Bajrang Dal was not going to tolerate the insult of Hindu deities anymore.
�Bajrang Dal activists will stop people from offending the sentiments of Hindus since the district administration has not taken any steps to prevent the offence,� he said.
Among those present in the delegation include Nikhar Sablok, Anish Dubey, Shaswat Samant, Jitendra Pramanik, Anirudh Giri, Gulshan Sonkar, Pravin Maurya, Harsh Yadav, Kunal Singh, Rahul Singh and Vishal Sharma.
