Jamshedpur, Dec 23: The bail petition of a member of the gangster Akhilesh Singh group, Ayush Chouhan was rejected by the court of additional district and session judge, Rajendra Kumar Sinha on Wednesday.
Public prosecutor Jai Prakash gave his submission against granting of bail to the criminal who is an accused in the gangwar that took place in Bhuiyandih as he was actively involved in the gangwar and got injured in the process.
Significantly on April 30 at Niti Bagh colony under Sitaramdera thana in which Akhilesh Singh gang members Kanhaiya Singh and his accomplices clashed with rival group Sudhir Dubey which resulted in several rounds of firing and Ayush was involved in it.
Sitaramdera police had arrested 30 persons in this case and sent them behind bars and in which most of the arrested persons were granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court. Only Akhilesh Singh main shooter Harish Singh and rival group leader Sudhir Dubey are still absconding and the court has granted order for attachment of their properties and arrest warrants against them.
However, police has not initiated any action against them so far.
