Jamshedpur, Dec 22: Bharat Jodo Padyatra, led by former MP and Congress leader Dr Ajoy Kumar was launched in Baharagora on Thursday, December 22 at the rural pockets of the Block including Jhanjia Sandra, Barsuti, Arang, Laundank, Gohlmad Bhutia, and Manasmuria.
Starting from Sandra Baharagora, the Padyatra passed through every block where Dr Ajoy Kumar held street meetings and directly interacted with the villagers against the politics of unemployment and inflation, hatred and division.
Dr Ajoy Kumar held public meetings at all villages and panchayats the Padyatra passed through and this would be a feature of the five day Padyatra that is programmed to cover 110 kilometers including 26 panchayats and 54 villages in Baharagora Block. The Yatra on the second day, Friday, will commence from Muturkham Baharagora at 8 am. The information was ptovided by Congress leader Bablu Jha.
