Bagbera: Rs 1 per day to be garbage lifting charges

Jamshedpur, August 13: Taking forward the Swach Bharat campaign, panchayat representatives and Manav Vikas Society in order to make the people of panchayat 4 in Bagbera Colony aware of cleanliness have started a unique initiative.

The residents have been told not to throw the leftovers here and there but keep in a bin outside their house. A garbage vehicle will come daily and pick up the waste and the households will have to pay only Rs 1/per day.

At the campaign panchayat mukhiya Bahamuni Hembrom, Ward members, Manav Vikas Society, Subodh Jha, members of Kamal Club, Ajay Singh Babbu, Vinod Singh and others were present.

A membership drive has been launched for cleaning of the Ganesh Puja ground in Bagbera colony. On the occasion Sunil Gupta of Bagbera Colony Panchayat said, the people providing full support towards the campaign. Ward member Kusum Devi, Kumar Vishal, Ranjeet, Manoj, Shrawan, Pappu Mishra and others are part of the campaign.

The flood affected region in Bagbera Panchayat road no.6 which is prone to several diseases, saw panchayat mukhiya Pratima Munda, panchay samiti member Ruby SIngh, Shananjay Singh, ward members Sunil Gupta Kumar Siddharth, Abhinav Kumar, Sagar Singh, Ramesh Kumar Singh and others sprinkled bleaching powder.
