Jamshedpur, April 16: Demanding construction of over bridge near the Jugsalai railway crossing, Bagbera panchayat representatives staged a one-day protest on Shaheed Bhagat Singh roundabout on Sunday.
The protest was led by Zilla Parshad member Kishore Yadav and Bagbera Colony panchayat deputy mukhiya Sunil Gupta.
Later, the protestors submitted a demand memorandum to Tatanagar Station master addressed to Chakradharpur Railway Divisional Manager.
According to the memorandum, the protestors demanded to soon start the over bridge work and pipe line work in 13 bustis. Present on the occasion were Zilla Parishad, mukhiyas, ward members, panchayat samiti members and others.
