Jamshedpur, Feb. 27: On the 86th death anniversary of Chandrashekhar Azad, Brahman Yuva Shakti Sangh celebrated the day as `Balidan Diwas’ on Monday.
The workers of the Sangh paid rich tributes to the legendary revolutionary who shot himself dead, as he did not want to be captured alive by the British and chanted patriotic slogans.
Founder of the Sangh, Appu Tiwary said, those who have been martyred fighting for the Independence of India will always be remembered. From Khudiram Bose to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Asfaq Ulla and other martyrs laid down their life to have an independent India.
He further said that today some of the anti-nationals are raising anti-India slogans to divide the country and its time that we again walk on the paths laid down by the revolutionaries and stand against the separatist strength.
Present on the occasion were Vijay Prakash Pathak, Sunil Sharma, Satish Tiwary, Pavan Ojha, Ankit Anand, Abhishek Pandey, Abhishek Ojha, Arun Shukla and others.
