Ranchi: The Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched in the presence of the Governor at Audrey House in Jharkhand on Wednesday.
Ayushman Bharata Yojana is a nationwide initiative, under which better health services will be provided to every village and town of the country. The scheme was started in Jharkhand in the presence of the Governor and Health Minister Banna Gupta bringing the ruling party and the Opposition on one platform.
MP Sanjay Seth said that PM Modi is giving the benefits of Ayushman Bharat to the people of the country. But it is sad that some people associated with healthcare are violating the rights of the poor. The BJP MP demanded action against such people from the Health Minister.
When BJP raised the question, Health Minister Banna Gupta did not shy away from answering. He advised BJP leaders not to look at the health issue from a political perspective but from a humanitarian perspective.
He appealed to BJP leaders to demand from the Central government to connect 70 lakh people of the state with Ayushman Bharat.
This scheme will be started on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi i.e. September 27. Under this campaign, Ayushman fairs will be organised at all health and welfare centers from September 17 to October 2 and poor people will be treated for free.
Camps will be organised in medical colleges and blocks of all the districts of the country.
