Awesome India pledges to save Sabars from extinction


Jamshedpur: In a bid to save the primitive tribal group of Sabars from extinction, city-based social organization Awesome India is all set to provide necessary basic resources to them.

The outfit volunteers will provide food and clothes to the Sabar community members in East Singhbhum and would take care of the PTG members in every manner possible.

This was informed on Friday by Roshan Jha, president of the outfit.

Jha said the outfit members will make sure that the benefits of various welfare schemes being run by the state and Central governments reach the Sabars without fail. He said the outfit members will keep an eye on the proper implementation of government projects that focus on the development of Sabar people.

Jha said a blood donation camp is going to be organized on 2nd April at Dayal City, Chhota Govindpur. Hundreds of blood donors are expected to participate in the camp, he said.

The media in-charge Rakesh Sabu, told scribes at Nirmal Guest House, Bistupur, that the outfit was running a number of social activities in different parts of the district for the uplift of the underprivileged people. He said the outfit members would extend every possible help to the Sabars to ensure their speedy development.
