Jamshedpur, March 31: Microland, the Bangalore based leading hybrid IT infrastructure services provider conducted campus at Golmuri situated NTTF RD Tata Technical Education Centre on Friday.
Ritesh Nayar, Sr Manager, Talent Fulfilment at Microland and team conducted written examination and interview of the students from Jamshedpur, Gopalpur and Hyderabad.
Total of 134 students tried their luck in the three round campus placement. Of which 56 students were shortlisted and after the final round 23 were hired by the company. The selected students will be given Rs 1.35 lakh as salary in the first year and it will be reviewed after the first year.
During the campus drive, placement officer Apurva Patra and Sharda Joshi along with computer teachers Sourabh Kumar and mechatronics department’s Yadunandan Behra provided full support in making the placement drive successful. Principal, Vice Principal and administrative officer Varun Kumar congratulated the students.
The 23 selected students includes-Muskan Jaggi, Ashwini Raj, Akansha Anand, Abhay Kumar, Harjeet kaur, Sonal Kumari, Anmol Parihar, Vishal Singh, Aparajita Roy and Sudhir Babu (Hyderabad) in the Electronics department.
Shilpi Kumari, Neha Pathak, Kumar Prashant, Aakash Kumar, Suraj Pratap Netham in the mechatronics. Gourav Kumar, Apurbo Mitr, Pallavi, Samit Naushad, Shreya, Puja Pradhan, Somnath Pradhan and Smarak Nath (Gopalpur) in the computer engineering department.
