Seraikela: Muralidhar Sarangi, a retired teacher, is spreading awareness on the social evil of �witch hunt� or killing of women after branding them as �dayan� or witch.
He is making local villagers aware of the evil and asking them to end the superstitious belief which brands women as witches.
The DC and DDC of Seraikela-Kharsawan have appreciated Sarangi�s efforts and asked him to spread awareness among the people.
They also flagged off a chariot to spread awareness against superstition in the villages and asked health officials to ensure timely and proper treatment of sick people.
