Avoid going to places where one is insulted: Himanshu

Jamshedpur, Aug. 13: On day 2 of the weeklong Srimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagna at Satyanarayan Marwari temple in Bistupur, Mathura resident Himanshu Maharaj giving a glimpse of spectacular floats show informed about the marriage of Shiv-Parvati and its glorification.

Due to enmity between Shavsur Daksha Prajapati and son-in-law Lord Shankar, Sati who was the wife of Lord Ishwar, sacrificed her body saying Lord Shankar has been insulted.

Himanshu Maharaj during the discourse said, Sati who sacrifices her body was born as Parvati in her next birth and Shiv and Parvati are later married. Shiv and Parvati are considered by faith.

Maharajee further said that one can find god only through reverence and faith. This narrative teaches us that we should never go to place or person where we are insulted. During the discourse manorama tableau of Shiv and Parvati was also displayed which was enjoyed by the devotees.

On the Sunday Omprakash Garg, Baidhnath Agarwal and Ramakant Gupta distributed Prasad. Hosts for day 2 of the religious programme were Narayan Bahuka, Omprakash Garg, Satyanarayan Naredi, Arun Bakrewal and Murari Lal Nagelia.

Devotees in large number were present at the religious programme. The seven-day religious programme will continue till Friday.
