Jamshedpur : An ATM security guard of the AXIS Bank, at Khasmahal Main Road under Pursudih Police Station was assaulted by unknown miscreants while he was on duty.
According to the police, the guard identified as was on duty when youths in an inebriated condition went to take out money from that ATM. When the guard tried to confront them, they assaulted him as a result of which, he fell unconscious. An FIR has been registered.
The guard works for a private security agency and was posted at the said ATM. An initial medical investigation, found that somebody had hit him hard on back of the head with a blunt object which caused a concussion.
�We have sought the CCTV footage to ascertain how the incident took place and the probable identity of the assailants. We suspect a personal issue is at the root of the attack,” said a police official.
