Ranchi, Nov. 5: Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das said that timely wages of MGNREGA workers should be assured in case of drought.
The CM said that �5 Percent Model Yojana� (digging pond in 1/20th part of farm) should be implemented & well water should be drawn through pump sets. In addition to this, skill development program will be done through panchayat bhawan of concerned village with the help of J.I. C.A, a Japan based institution.
He also directed to create employment by making youths skillful in lah production, agriculture & animal husbandry. He directed to use barren & unfertile land for developing solar farm mechanism.
The CM also directed to develop the villages of freedom fighter Birsa Munda, Siddo- Kanho, Sheikh Bhikhari & Tikait Umraon Singh into model villages.
He said that electricity will be provided to these villages & street lights from solar energy. He also said that all the children will go school & women will be trained to be self dependent.
RDD Minister Mr. Nilkanth Singh Munda, Chief Secretary Mr. Rajiv Gauba, Devlopment Commissioner Mr. R. S. Poddar, Principal Secretary to CM Mr. Sanjay Kr. Principal Secretary Planning- cum- Finance Mr. Amit Khare & RDD secretary Mr. M. R. Meena were present in this meeting.
