Jamshedpur, April 13: Association of Bengali Clubs, Jamshedpur, collaboration between Sabuj Kalyan Sangha (Telco), Bengal Club (Sakchi), The Milanee (Bistupur), Evening Club (Tinplate) and Amal Sangha (Bhalubasa), will jointly celebrate Bengali New Year with pomp and variety.
Association of Bengali Clubs will organize its first “Barsha Baran Utsav” on the occasion of Bengali Nababarsha – 1423 at the Bengal Club in Sakchi on Sunday, April 17.
Mithilesh Ghosh, convener of Association of Bengali Clubs, Jamshedpur, said Zee TV Bangla fame Aritra Das Gupta will put up a performance wherein more than 1000 people are expected.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Ghosh informed that eminent personalities of Jamshedpur will be felicitated during the celebration and entry will be through passes.
Talking about this collaboration, Raja Choudhury, secretary, The Bengal Club, said as the renovation of the club we would organize the program for the first time and the collaboration will also be extend to other occasions such as Rabindra Jayanti and Vijaya Sammelani.
Choudhury further informed that in the future, we will organise many programs and activities under one banner. The host clubs will change by turns.
Its starts with The Bengal Club and next it would be Sabuj Kalyan Sangha.
