Jamshedpur: Ashraful Rahbar delivered a stunning hattrick as Jamshedpur FC secured a commanding 5-2 victory over FAO Academy in a high-tempo clash at Aghornath Park Stadium, Kalna. Jamshedpur dominated proceedings, making the most of their chances to clinch all three points.
The match began with Jamshedpur FC asserting early control. Ashraful Rahbar opened the scoring in the 7th minute, setting the tone for his side. FAO Academy responded quickly, with Hardik Baral leveling the score in the 12th minute. However, Ashraful restored Jamshedpur’s lead in the 24th minute before completing his hattrick in the 30th minute. Kartik Marandi then struck to give Jamshedpur an unassailable 4-1 advantage before halftime.
Jamshedpur continued their dominance after the break, with Karthikeyan adding a fifth goal to seal the result. FAO Academy managed a late consolation, but Jamshedpur held firm to see out the win.
The victory is a significant boost for Jamshedpur FC, who now shift their focus to their next clash against United Sports Club on March 29.
