Ashok Modi files nomination for president’s post in PSZMS elections

Jamshedpur, Dec 16: On the last day of filing of nominations for the Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS) elections for the term 2020-’22 to be held at the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) office of Tuesday, December 22, Ashok Modi put in his papers for the post of president of the district body. He filed five sets of nomination forms.  Those present at the time of Ashok Modi’s filing of nomination papers were Ashok Bhalotia, Umesh Shah, Balmukund Goyal, Nirmal Kabra, Mahabir Agrawal (Mango), Ashok Goyal (Shri Jewelers), Satyanarayan Agrawal (Dhatkidih), Pawan Agrawal (Bhalubasa), Naresh Modi, Lakhan Lal Agrawal, Mahabir Agrawal (Sonari), Santosh Agrawal (Kadma), Amit Agrawal (Sakchi Bal Mandal), Abhishek Agrawal (Goldie), Guddu Sharma, Binod Mittal, Pankaj Chhavchharia and Prakash Modi.

While filing his nomination for the post of PSZMS president, Ashok Modi said that he had seen the activities of the organization from very close quarters since the last four years. “Working with president Umesh Shah was a learning experience. I got attuned to the execution of planned work effectively. I have received lots of support from the members of the community,” Ashok Modi averred.

He assured that if elected to the president’s post he would be available for the community’s welfare at all times. “With the cooperation and blessings of the community members, I would endeavor to give my best to provide new directions to the entire community,” Ashok Modi said.
