Jamshedpur, July 6: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West (RCJW) hosted its annual installation ceremony, “Caravan”, at a city hotel on Saturday, marking the official transition of leadership for the Rotary year 2025–26.
Chief Guest S.K. Behera, Managing Director of RSB Transmission, praised the club’s continued commitment to community service and upliftment of underprivileged sections.

Outgoing President Dr. Amit Mukherjee highlighted the club’s achievements during 2024–25 and thanked his team for their support. The new leadership team, led by President Ashok Jha and Secretary Naman Agarwal, was installed by PDG Rtn. Pratim Banerjee.
A commemorative souvenir was unveiled by Rtn. Behera and Souvenir Committee Chair Rtn. Amitava Bakshi. Newly appointed President Ashok Jha pledged to build on the club’s legacy in line with Rotary’s 2025–26 theme, “Unite for Good.”

Sharat Chandra expressed optimism about the incoming leadership and their ability to enhance the club’s impact through meaningful initiatives.
The Board of Directors of the Rotary Club for the year 2025–26 comprises Mithilesh Kumar Jha as Treasurer, Gurpreet Bhatia as President Elect, Dipti Singh as Vice President, Dr. Amit Mukherjee as Immediate Past President, Rishi Chandrani as Joint Secretary, and Amit Dey as Sergeant at Arms.
The Directors include Amresh Sinha (Foundation), Dr. Sujata Mitra (Positive Health, Mother & Child Health & NCD), J. B. Singh (CSR and Service Project-II), Dr. Joohi Samarpita (New Generation), Dr. Bikrant Tiwary (Environment) to name a few. Monika Uppal serves as the Bulletin Editor.
