Jamshedpur: Art in Nature 2014 an art workshop cum painting competition organized by Tata Steel Zoological Park in association with Off The Wall Art Gallery and Art Kingdom – an Institute of Art and Craft which kicked off on May 20th, concluded today on World Biodiversity Day 2014. The theme was �Island Diversity�.
Students participated in three categories that included Junior, Middle and Senior. Different topics for paintings were allotted to different groups on each day which were relevant to Island Diversity.
Today, the programme concluded at Nature Education Centre of Tata Zoo and the closing ceremony was graced by the presence of eminent artist Sucheta Basu, Rajnish Kumar, Member, Tata Steel Zoological Society, Dr M Palit, Deputy Director cum Veterinary Officer, Tata Steel Zoological Park, SK Mahato, curator, Tata Zoo, Seema Rani, Biologist cum Education Officer, Tata Zoo, Mrinmoy Pramanik, Founder � Principal, Art Kingdom and Sandeep Raj Singh, Zoo Volunteer. The event was judged over the past three days by Arun Sinha, Anup Sinha and Ashok Maity.
