Jamshedpur: St. John’s High School witnessed a vibrant display of creativity, innovation and student talent during the Art and Craft Exhibition and Innovation Model Competition organised on the school campus today. Students from pre-primary to class 11, along with parents and teachers, took enthusiastic part in the event.
The central attraction of the programme was the theme-based exhibition titled “India’s Success Story”. Students from classes 3 to 11 presented innovative models on subjects such as Smart City, Indian Economy, Sustainable Development, Water Conservation, Solar and Wind Energy, Digital India, Har Ghar Jal, Chandrayaan, Gaganyaan and Agricultural Innovations. These models showcased India’s progress, development and technological advancements through the young creators’ perspectives.
Adding liveliness to the programme were a series of fun games and activities organised for parents. Musical Chair, Button Sorting, Cotton Ball Transfer and a Parents’ Talent Show brought excitement to the gathering, with parents participating energetically and making the event even more memorable.
The exhibition also featured colourful art pieces created by students from pre-primary to class 10. Drawings, paintings, paper art, 3D crafts, best-out-of-waste creations and other imaginative artwork captivated every visitor.
The programme aimed to encourage creative thinking and scientific temperament among students, promote active participation of parents, and present India’s journey of growth and achievements through student-led initiatives.
School Principal Ashu Tiwari appreciated the efforts of all participants and said that such events play a vital role in nurturing innovation, leadership qualities, confidence and teamwork in students.
The model evaluation was conducted by senior teacher Annamitra Dutta and Vice Principal Ravi Kumar. Both judges praised the students for their creativity, conceptual clarity, presentation skills and the technical quality of the models.
