Jamshedpur, July 27: The Society for Promotion of Professional Excellence (SPPE) on Wednesday organized 8th Hindi Elocution Competition at Centre for Excellence Auditorium for Project and government schools of the city of Jamshedpur.
Nearly 80 students from various schools participated in this program. The participants were judged by Duryodhan Singh, Anamika Sharma, G D Pandey and Shailendra Ashtana.
In the junior group- Arshi Firdous of Kerala Public Hindi School, Mango was adjudged the winner; Ritika Das of Hindustan Mitra Mandal Middle School, Golmuri came second while Harjeet Kaur of Khalsa Middle School, Tinplate was third.
Consolation prizes were received by Bhoomika Sahu of Premjyoti Prangan, Rimpa Gorai of Shardamony Girls High School, Sakchi and Gaurav Naik of DBMS Lilliput.
In the senior group, Tahseen Tabassum of Jamshedpur Girls High School, Bistupur, was declared first followed by Anjali Kumari of Premjyoti Prangan and Krishna Rana of Sakchi High School, Sakchi.
Consolation prizes were given away to Khushboo Kumari of St. Mary�s Hindi School, Bistupur, Shruti Ganguli of Shardamony Girls High School, Sakchi, and Ankita Kumari of St. Joseph High School, Golmuri.
Prabhat Kumar, Gopa Sarkar and Anita Sharma along with the judges gave away the prizes to the winning participants.
Dr Sheela Kumari, principal Rajasthan Vidya Mandir Middle School, Anuranjan, principal Kerala Samajam Hindi School, Pankaj Kumar Sahu, principal Sri Ramkrishna High School, Manju Kumari, Rajendra Middle School, Bagbera, Jyoti Kumari, teacher, Rajendra Middle School, Bagbera, and teachers from other schools were present during the program.
