Jamshedpur, July 24: Arko Mukhopadhyaya of Little Flower School, Jamshedpur, has become the third national topper by scoring 99.25 per cent marks in Commerce stream in the ISC Class 12 Board Exam. He is also the second city and state topper.
Aspiring to become an economist, he wants to study at the prestigious St. Stephen’s College in New Delhi. According to him, “Covid-19 turned out to be a boon for students as they had to attend classes online. Online courses got completed easily as teachers guided and motivated us. I studied consistently throughout the year. I believe in the adage ‘slow and steady wins the race’”
Arko’s father Arindam Mukhopadhyaya works at Tata Motors and his mother Sharmila is a homemaker. Both of them supported him in his studies.
