Seraikela, January 1: Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda reached Kharsawan in Seraikela-Kharsawan district as part of a pre-announced program to pay homage to the martyrs in the Kharsawan firing of January 1, 1948.
After paying tribute at Shaheed Sthal, the Union Minister said in a conversation with reporters that every year on the occasion of Martyr’s Day, people reach here to pay homage to the martyrs. It is sad to see the sacrifice, but today it is satisfying to see the people who gather to pay true tribute to the martyrs.
Arjun Munda said that tribals moving forward on employment, health, education and constitutional rights will be a fitting tribute to the martyrs on the holy land of Kharsawan.
The Union minister said that new horizons are being created in the digital age. In which the development of primitive tribes is also taking place. Responding to the issue of Kharsawan firing martyrs not being identified even after 74 years, Union Minister Arjun Munda said that the state government should show sensitivity on this issue. He said that scams and scams came to the fore in the committee formed while in the government. This shows that the government is not serious about these matters.
