Arjun Munda attends Lord Shiva’s Rudrabhishek by Saryu Roy in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 22: The office of Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy in Baridih hosted a grand Rudrabhishek ceremony on the first Monday of the Shravan month. The event, which began with a traditional worship of Gauri-Ganesh, Varun, Navgrah, and Matrika, featured the creation and invocation of an earthen Shivling, followed by a ceremonial bath with milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugarcane juice, cannabis juice, and holy ash. The ritual included a four-hour Rudrabhishek conducted with milk, water, jaggery mixed water, and sugarcane juice, alongside uninterrupted recitation of Rudraashtadhayi.

Following the rituals, the Mahaprasad, prepared by skilled artisans from Buxar, was distributed in the adjacent Ramarcha ground. The prasad included Haathi Kanpuri, Potato Parwal Sabzi, Potato Brinjal Sabzi, Sweet and Sour Tomato Chutney, and Bundia. Thousands of people gathered to partake in the Mahaprasad, with distribution continuing late into the night.

Notable attendees who received the prasad included former Union Minister Arjun Munda, Siddhinath Singh, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Suresh Santhalia, former General Secretary Bharat Bhasani, Avinash Singh Raja, Vijay Kumar Singh, Manoj Kumar Singh, Kavita Parmar, Krishna Kumar, Deepak Sahay, Raj Kumar Agarwal, Rajat Singh, BN Singh, Jusco Managing Director Rituraj Sinha, Pranya Sinha, Chanakya Choudhary, and Shailendra Singh.
