Jamshedpur: An archery competition was organized in Kalikapur under the banner of Baba Tilka Majhi Memorial Society, Kalikapur, on Thursday. It was organized by Zila Parishad member Sanjeev Sardar. Participants from West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand showcased their marksmanship on the occasion. First prize was given to Mangal Murmu of Matkamdih. A cash prize of Rs 5000 was given to Murmu.
Among others present on the occasion included Shyam Charan Murmu, Somay Tudu, Pradip Tudu, Anil Murmu, Shyam Besra and Vinod Murmu.
