Jamshedpur, April 28: The APR Nair Sports Literacy Seminar, organized by Aman Welfare Society, concluded on Monday at APJ Kalam High School in Jawahar Nagar. Former national footballer Md Shafiq attended as the chief guest, while international player Firoz Khan and international coach Hasan Imam Malik were present as special invitees.
The seminar aimed at educating school children about the importance of sports in daily life and how it can be a career path. Participants received detailed insights into pursuing careers in sports and integrating sports into their daily routines. Ajay Kumar Jha, Director of Sports Management of Youth, shared valuable information on subjects like Sports Management and Sports Psychology.
Dr. Afroz Shakeel, Chairman of the organizing committee, along with Md Tahir Hussain, Shahid Akhtar, Shigufa Moin, and Farhat Jahan, attended the seminar. Dr. Pratish Rahi also spoke about dehydration and sports injuries, providing essential knowledge to the students.
