Jamshedpur, Aug 20: Apex Corporation India Private Limited has alleged that some individuals with criminal backgrounds are obstructing its work and attempting to extort money. In a press note issued on Wednesday, the company stated that it has undertaken repair work on the existing boundary wall of its land and has kept the nearby Jataal Puja Sthal untouched, even beautifying the site under the guidance of the village head.
“Some people of criminal nature, against whom several cases are already pending, are spreading false rumours and creating disruption with the help of hired persons. They are demanding Rs. 20 lakh, which is completely unfair and illegal,” the company said.
Apex Corporation confirmed that it has submitted written complaints to the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and other officials, along with lodging FIRs in the concerned police stations. Copies of the complaints have been attached with the company’s communication.
The company urged the district administration to take strict legal action against those responsible, specifically naming Sukhlal Pahariya, Prahlad Oraon and Sanjay Sharma and sought security to ensure smooth continuation of its work.
