Jamshedpur: District administration carried out an anti-encroachment drive in Marine Drive Busti with Jusco officials on Saturday.
The administration team removed encroachment from the roadside which had been recently laid with stones to prevent land corrosion during flash floods.
The administration officials found the roadside paved with stones encroached by certain local residents. They had reportedly received complaints about the encroachment few days back.
A team was set up to remove the encroachment.
Members of the anti-encroachment team said the residents had been warned against encroachment.
They said a search is on for the people who tried to encroach the roadside and adjoining land.
