Jamshedpur : The team of Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch, Power House, won the overall championship of Frolic Sports Meet-2014 today.
The last day of Annual Sports Meet of RVS College of Engineering and Technology witnessed finals of last four events. The players of Power House proved their talent in almost all events and ultimately emerged as the overall winner.
The Chief Guest of closing ceremony of Frolic meet�14 was the Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University Mr. R P P Singh and the guest of honour was Mr. Rah Sahay.
Chief Guest Mr. Singh gave away the prizes to the winners and wished them for a bright future. The Chairman of the RVS College Mr. Binda Singh felicitated Mr. Singh by presenting him a shawl and a memento.
A no. of dignataries, guests, hosts including Chairman Mr. Singh, Secretary of RVS Educational Trust Mr. Bharat Singh, Treasurer Mr. Shatrughna Singh, Executive member Mr. Shakti Singh, Director of the college Prof. (Dr.) M. P. Singh, Principal Dr. Sukomal Ghosh, Dr. Rajesh Tiwari, Prof. Arun Kumar, Dr. B.P. Verma, Prof. N. Roy Choudhury, Prof. Paras Nath, Dr. Sudhir Jha, Prof. Sanjeev Srivastava, Dr. S.P. Singh, Prof. B. Goswami etc. were present on the occasion of closing ceremony of the sports meet.
