Jamshedpur, Sept 11: The two days annual schooling of six Region Chairpersons and eighteen Zone Chairpersons and District Public Relations Officer of Lions Clubs International 322 A comprising of Jharkhand and part of Bihar was held in Ranchi.
The rigorous training covered all the important aspects of Lionism and what is expected from these senior Lions Club officials during the current Lionistic Year.
Review of health of various Lions Clubs and session on how to become a Certified Guiding Lion so that they can monitor at least two Lions clubs, role of Zone Chairpersons, facilitating cross level communication, Membership Plan and Growth, Goal Setting and Action Planning for success, Community Initiatives were some of the important sessions covered during the annual schooling.
The schooling was inaugurated jointly by Kanchan Singh, District Governor, Rajnish Kumar, First Vice District Governor, Rajiva Kumar Singh, Second Vice District Governor and Rajiw Lochan , Past District Governor who coordinated the annual training workshop.
The sessions were very interactive and many new initiatives keeping the Centennial Year of Lionism were chalked out for implementation at various level in different parts of the district with special emphasis on Environment, Vision, Hunger and Youth.
The faculties included the District Governors team and Past District Governors Sudipto Mukherjee and Nalini Mukherjee and Suraj Bagla, Past District Governor from Kolkata.
From Jamshedpur Vinita Shah, Region Chairperson, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Zone Chairperson, K P Chand, Cabinet Secretary and few senior lion attended the event.
