�Annual Prize Nite� of Tagore School of Art held

Jamshedpur: The annual �prize nite� of Tagore School of Art, run by Tagore Society, was held at Ravindra Bhavan, Sakchi, on Sunday. It started with a welcome song sung by the students while welcoming the guests. A welcome speech was given by the president of Tagore Society, Dr HS Paul. He spoke on the objectives of the institution and its role in preserving the rich cultural heritage of the country. Ashish Chowdhury, general secretary of Tagore Society, presented the annual report of Tagore School of Art. He said art and culture were important aspects of a civilized human society.
The students of Tagore School of Art were awarded by the guests. A vote of thanks was proposed by chairman Dr J Banerjee.
