Jamshedpur, Oct 22: The Sri-Sri Rankini Temple on Kadma Main Road celebrated the Annakut Festival with great devotion and enthusiasm on Wednesday. Temple Committee President Dilip Das and General Secretary Janardan Pandey informed that the festival, dedicated to Goddess Annapurna, was being celebrated at the temple for the past 35 years.
As part of the rituals, fifty-six types of food items (Chhappan Bhog) were offered to Goddess Annapurna as Prasad, symbolizing gratitude and prosperity. Hundreds of devotees from Jamshedpur and nearby areas gathered to participate in the offering and seek blessings.
The Rankini Temple, one of Kadma’s oldest and most revered temples, continued to attract devotees from far and wide. Present during the celebration were committee members K.G. Govind, A.R. Dey, Satish Verma, Sanjay Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, Ramesh, Subhash, Kartik, Manoj Kumar and Naveen Kumar, along with other senior and junior members.
