Ankita and Komalika of Tata Archery Academy to fight for Gold in Senior National Archery Championship

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Archery Association is organising 31st NTPC Senior Indian Round, 44th Senior Recurve, and 20th Senior Compound National Archery Championship, supported by Archery Association of India, NTPC and Tata Steel in Gopal Maidan during December 16 to 20.

On the second day of the competition, qualification for the Indian archery round took place besides Team and Mix recurve events.

In the Women’s Team event, Jharkhand has reached the finals and will be fighting for the Gold medal match on December 20 against Madhya Pradesh. The Jharkhand Women Team comprises of two athletes from the Tata Archery Academy, Ankita Bhakat and Komalika Bari.

Team and Mixed event for the Compound archery will happen tomorrow.
