Jamshedpur, May 28: Animesh Kumar Gupta took over as DSP CCR of Jamshedpur on Friday. He was earlier DSP Kolhan CID and was praised for his investigation by ADG Jharkhand CID Anil Palta.
Animesh Kumar Gupta had managed to solve several complicated crimes during his tenure at Kadma and Parsudih thana. He had also nabbed gangsger Sujit Sinha wife and three other accomplices and had also solved the scam of Rs 38 crore in the Jharkhand State Cooperative Bank Saraikela branch and was instrumental in arrest of all the officials and businessmen involved in the scam.
