Anima Das Trust to provide free education to underprivileged kids

Jamshedpur: Anima Das Memorial Charitable Trust has planned to extend support to the underprivileged children and elderly of the society. The trust will open play school to provide free education to the tiny tots while guest house will be opened for the elderly where they can enjoy their time, said PN Das, President of Anima Das Memorial Charitable Trust and his son Devbrat Das.

Addressing a press meet at their Bistupur situated office on Tuesday, the father-son duo informed that the innovative experiment will begin soon. Play School will be opened in the basement of Talwar Building for underprivileged and slum area children. ‘In the first phase 100 children will be provided free education and a new building will be constructed and play school will be opened at Baliguma in Mango where adivasi children from the rural areas will be given quality education totally free of cost’, they said.

PN Das further said, school will run from Monday to Friday 7am to 9am and at the same building will be opened to physically and mentally challenged people on Saturdays and Sundays. Arrangement will also be in place to accommodate 30 people at the same building. Also present at the press meet were Vishnupado Satpati, Anita Mohanty, DK Mohanty and Pradeep Das.
